BIO

I'm an Anglo-Irish 30-something based in London. I am a cultural historian, particularly of the 20th century. I hope that a deeply curious cultural outlook, underpinned by my academic work, informs more intelligent and evocative social photography, but there's a real chance I am deluding myself in an attempt to make myself feel important. Outside of photography, I have a background in performing arts and have worked professionally in the fields of classical music, magic and dance. I hope that a rich background of dynamic performance work influences a particularly graphic style, but once again I am likely mistaken​.
